    IFC Session leaders at IFC

  • What?

    My role is to train, support and manage this group of people. On average, they come from 16 different countries and for most of them English is not their first language. They arrive on Monday as strangers and leave on Friday as long life friends. They have found network contacts, new colleagues, fresh inspiration, international friends and a newly found confidence in themselves and the sector of change makers altogether.

    It has been a privilege and an honor to be the trainer of the Session leaders at the International Fundraising Congress for almost 12 years.

    The IFC is hosted at the NH Leeuwenhorst Hotel, a four star hotel in Noordwijkerhout, close to the popular beach resort of Noordwijk.

    It is located in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland, about 30 minutes from Amsterdam city centre and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Project description

The Session leaders are a group of 20 specially selected delegates who will also perform supporting duties to speakers, delegates and the conferences as a whole. The selection is very specific; fundraisers from countries without a philanthropic culture, sole Fundraisers, those who work at a small charity without any education budget, Fundraisers between jobs and free lance Fundraising consultants.
